What optional extras are available?
Frame colours can be powder-coated in any of 300+ RAL options, including dual-colour finishes (different shades inside and out). Glass options include laminated for extra security, argon-filled for improved insulation, antisun to reduce glare, obscured for privacy, and tinted for a contemporary look. Integral Venetian or pleated blinds can be sealed within the glazed units, and matching windows are available for a unified aesthetic.
How do integral blinds work, and what colours can I choose?
Our optional integral blinds are Venetian-style slats sealed permanently inside the cavity of the double-glazed unit, so they never need cleaning and cannot be damaged by everyday use. Light and privacy are controlled by tilting the slats. Colours include white, yellow, agate grey, beige, green, light blue, cream, grey, metallic silver, silver, slate grey, anthracite grey and black, plus a dual-colour anthracite grey/white finish for properties where you want different shades visible from inside vs outside. Operation is either via a magnetic cord winder at the top of the glass or a side-mounted slider.
Can I have a low or flush threshold, and what’s involved?
Flush thresholds are available and popular with new builds and extensions. The track and cill assembly is 65mm tall, plus a 10mm fitting tolerance, so the structural opening should sit 75mm below the finished floor for a level transition between inside and outside. Our site surveyor will check this is achievable for your project.
How secure are these sliding doors?
Security is built into every aspect of the design. The sliding doors are PAS 24 tested and certified, the recognised UK standard for enhanced security, and each panel is individually lockable thanks to our purpose-developed locking system. Standard glazing is double-glazed Kitemarked K-glass, with laminated glass available as an upgrade for additional intruder resistance. Aluminium frames are inherently more resistant to forced entry than timber or PVC alternatives.
What’s the lead time from order to installation?
Typical lead time from order to installation is around 4 weeks. Because we design, manufacture and install everything ourselves, there are no middlemen or third-party suppliers adding delays to the process.

Yes. Georgian Patio Doors with Integral Bars are one of our most popular bespoke variants, with traditional glazing bars sealed inside the double-glazed units.
